Categories of information
In the preceding 12 months, we may have collected identifiers and contact information, internet or other electronic activity, approximate geolocation derived from IP address, communications and request details, and inferences reasonably drawn from interactions with our website. We collect these categories from you, your device, service providers, and business partners as applicable.
Purposes and disclosures
We use information for the business and commercial purposes described in our Privacy Policy, including responding to requests, operating and securing our services, analytics, legal compliance, and—when requested—connecting people with independent insurance professionals or providers. We may disclose relevant categories to service providers, contractors, independent insurance professionals or providers, professional advisers, authorities, and transaction counterparties as described in that policy.
Sale or sharing
Some disclosures for lead generation, advertising, or cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under California law even when no money changes hands. You may opt out through our Do Not Sell My Info page. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16.
Submitting a request
Submit a request by emailing sales@getrealautopolicy.autos or calling +1 (803) 927-4879. Please describe the right you wish to exercise. We may need to verify your identity and California residency before completing certain requests. We will use verification information only for that purpose.
Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may ask for signed permission, evidence of the agent’s authority, and direct verification from you, as permitted by law.
